Transfer domain with web somewhere
else and email with Epik

  • Log into your Epik account and add the domain to your account --- Click Domains on the black row and select Add Domain(s).

  • Order email hosting
    Select the box to the left of the domain, click Build at the top and select Order Hosting.

  • Re-create the email accounts --- Use this support article which will walk you through the steps: https://www.epik.com/support/knowledgebase/create-and-manage-email-accounts/

  • Follow the on-screen instructions which will take you to checkout. Please note your Epik account will automatically log you into cPanel; however, please keep the email with the login that we send you just in case that connection breaks.

  • Apply your host’s DNS records on the domain. If you need help, use this support article: https://www.epik.com/support/knowledgebase/nameservers-dns-records/

  • Update the name servers on the domainThey need to be
    ns3.epik.com and ns4.epik.com

  • Initiate the transfer for the domain --- Log into the current registrar, unlock the domain, and request its authorization code. Then log into Epik, click Transfers on the black row, select Transfer Domain to Epik, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Transfer domain with
just email hosting

  • Log into your Epik account and add the domain to your account --- Click Domains on the black row and select Add Domain(s).

  • Order email hosting

  • Back up any important emails ebcause once the hosting is canceled, you won't be able to access those emails.

  • Update the name servers on the domain --- The hosting name servers were provided in an email to you once hosting was ordered.

  • Initiate the transfer for the domain --- Log into the current registrar, unlock the domain, and request its authorization code. Then log into Epik, click Transfers on the black row, select Transfer Domain to Epik, and follow the on-screen instructions.
