Skip to main content is a one-stop shop for domains and web hosting (and more), and there are a lot of different features to manage all your assets.

One such tools is the Domain Profiles – they allow you to create different WHOIS Settings, Registrant Information and even DNS, which you can then apply individually or in bulk to your domain names in a programmatic way, even during the transfer process.

Epik asks you to create the default one when you first log in after registering an account with Epik. You can then create additional ones by following these simple steps.

Creating/Editing a Domain Profile

1. Login to your Epik Account, and navigate to your Dashboard. There, click Account in the top back navigation bar, and then Domain Profiles.

2. You’ll be met with a page with the list of the domain profiles you have. If you want to edit your default one, for example, click View / Edit Profile. To create a new one, click + Add a New Profile.

3. In this creation page, you have access to the options – Registrant Information is mandatory, and DNS Records are optional (leave them empty so Epik doesn’t change any DNS settings when updating your profile). You can set one set of information and copy it to the registrant types fields, or set each individually.

4. Below you can add the DNS information you wish to set as default, such as the Name Servers, DNS Records, Parking and Marketplace settings, and billing cycle. When ready, you can set a name and description for the Profile for easy recognition, and Save.

Applying a Domain Profile

Epik Dashboard

Domain Profiles are available to apply to one or in bulk to domains through the Whois Settings. In your Epik Dashboard, simply select all the applicable domains, click the square icon in the corner of the domain list, then click Set Whois Info or Domain Profile in the first DNS & Whois option.

Inside the Whois page, you can choose and apply the desired Domain Profile through the top bar, which is also available in every other DNS related page.

On Transfers

You’re able to apply a domain profile to the domains when transferring them to, which will be applied in full when the domain arrives at Epik. On the Transfers page, you’re able to set the desired Domain Profile through the options next to the Next Step button.
