Delivering an external domain sale from Epik involves a few more steps compared to an internal domain sale. Here’s the general process:
- The domain is listed on the Epik Marketplace.
- An individual buys the said domain and the transfer.
- Epik alerts the seller that they need to provide the AuthCode.
- The seller provides the AuthCode, and the transfer is put in place.
- If the seller, for some reason (usually a transfer lock), refuses to transfer the domain to Epik, there’s only one option: push at the internal registrar. The buyer needs to agree to this procedure.
- Once the domain is in Epik’s possession, either by transfer or an internal push, Epik delivers it to the buyer.
- Finally, Epik releases the seller’s funds after confirming that both parties are happy.
